Danny Bottoms, President & Chief Executive Officer
Danny Bottoms joined Cavalier Telephone in 2008 after 2 years as COO of Showtime Arabia, a pay TV company operating from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With over 15 years experience in the US telecommunications industry, he was most recently the President and CEO of the metro optical solutions provider OnFiber Communications until its acquisition by Qwest Communications in 2006. Prior to OnFiber, he held management positions with MasTec, Qwest, and MCI. Danny started his career on active duty with the US Army and holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iowa.


David Whitt, Chief Financial Officer
David joined Cavalier Telephone after its founding, in January 1999. Since then, he has overseen numerous financial transactions and acquisitions including the most recent with Talk America. Before Cavalier, David worked for distinguished international accounting firms including KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers. As a tax manager, David advised numerous Fortune 500 clients in the areas of tax strategy, planning and compliance. As CFO, David oversees all accounting, finance and billing operations for Cavalier. In 2006, David was a finalist for Virginia Business magazine’s CFO of the Year. David is an honours graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.


Rick Gambriel, Chief Information Officer
Rick has been with Cavalier Telephone since April 2004, and serves as the Chief Information Officer overseeing all the Information Technology activities including all software development and infrastructure operations. Before joining Cavalier, Rick served as an Executive Vice President and CIO with BB&T subsidiary, Scott & Stringfellow Inc., brokerage firm. Rick also previously worked for NASA for 14 years at Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland. Rick is a graduate of Frostburg State University and has a Law Degree from the University of Baltimore and is the past president of the Richmond Math & Science Innovation Center Foundation.


Jeff Snyder, Executive Vice President of Human Resources
Jeff is one of the founders of Cavalier Telephone and currently serves as Executive Vice President of Human Resources. He is responsible for all human resource activities, employee development and corporate training. Originally, Jeff served as Vice President of marketing, overseeing product development and pricing and promotional strategies. Jeff has a strong background in business management, gained throughout his extensive career in product manufacturing for the automotive industry. Jeff transitioned into telecommunications at Phone Michigan, a company founded by Brad Evans. Jeff is a graduate of Western Michigan University.


James Vermeulen, Executive Vice President of Operations & Engineering
Jim has been with Cavalier since 2001 and is responsible for network operations and engineering, repair, field services, and customer service. Since joining Cavalier he has held a succession of positions including Director of Engineering, Vice President of Engineering and Executive Vice President of Engineering.

Prior to joining Cavalier Jim held management positions with Conectiv Communications and US West Communications. Jim has been in the telecommunications industry for more than 20 years focusing on operations, engineering, and project management. He is a graduate of J.M. Perry Technical Institute, Yakima, Washington. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Army.


Francie McComb, Executive Vice President Law and Public Policy
Francie joined Cavalier Telephone after Talk America was purchased in 2006. Since then, she has overseen all legal and regulatory affairs for Cavalier, including litigation, corporate, compliance, and federal and state advocacy. Before Cavalier, Francie was Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for Talk America, Inc. where she oversaw all regulatory, compliance, and enforcement matters. Francie is a graduate of Harvard-Radcliffe College and Villanova University School of Law.


David A Lynch, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing
David joined Cavalier in November 2007 as the EVP of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Cavalier, David established highly successful credentials as a sales and customer service executive in both the telecom and high tech industries. From 1989 thru 1996, David's responsibilities included the restructuring and rebuilding the sales and support organizations for Allnet Communications. David then became SVP of Sales for NET-Tel Communications where he built and managed a national sales organization selling into the SMB marketplace and later served as the CBO at Yellowbrix. Most recently, David managed, developed and implemented new customer sales and service strategies for Conversent Communications. David graduated with a Degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University.
